Karen joined Haviland & Sams in 2008 as Office Manager, and has thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the firm’s clients over the last decade. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Communications from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and has taken subsequent courses to earn her Accounting Certificate. Karen is also a Notary Public for the company.
Prior to joining the firm, Karen worked in the fields of marketing and advertising as well as office administration for high technology companies located in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Accounting is now her main area of concentration.
Karen resides in Connecticut with her family, including their cherished rescue dog.
